The Oyster Girl NC and Waterman’s Choice are coming to the farm with oysters from Topsail Sound, and we are pairing them with live music and wine flights!
The growers themselves will be on site roasting and shucking. You get to meet them, nerd out about farming and salinity and flavor, and eat oysters while the people who raised them tell you exactly where they came from.
Leia Sadiku will play live from 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Pre-order yours to make sure you get them! Walk ins are welcome too.
At the Winery, 105 Persimmon Hill Lane, Cedar Grove, NC 27231
More about Morgan Klein: I am a proud graduate of Cape Fear Community College’s Marine Technology Program and USCG Master 25 GT Captain. My passion lies in supporting local watermen and promoting local seafood. The oysters I cultivate (Marsh Hippies) are grown in the clean, salty waters of Topsail Sound (32ppt-40ppt salinity). These oysters offer a balanced, oceanic and savory flavor. It’s a true labor of love from tide to table.
More about Griffin Canady: Waterman's Choice is a seed-to-shuck shellfish aquaculture operation serving the regional seafood markets of North Carolina with premium products cultivated in Topsail and Stump Sound.
